Day one of Pouzza Fest in Montreal Canada is done and I am exhausted, damp and hungry. But first sleep, I need sleep, so why am I typing at almost 5am? I thought I would try something different for a change. So many venues and only one of me and wanting to get to them all, I managed 3 in the pouring rain so I count the night a success. I must say everyone has been on their best behavior and the music out of this world. I saw bands from near and far, some that drove for days to play 5 songs. For now I will just post a few pics and leave the details for a later post.
I have been making a lot of posts on Facebook, as I made the decision to try and build an audience there and then attempt to move that audience over here as well. In concentrating on Facebook I felt it would be an easier way to reach people locally as well as connect with the fans of the artists I have been photographing. Because of my focus on Facebook I have not been posting many photos or updates here, which will be changing soon, more regular updates forthcoming. The point of this post, rather than going back and posting a bunch of photos here from past shows over the past year or so, I have a portfolio site setup which will be added to. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Click the site here, Music Portfolio and I will be adding a link up top as well.
A Whilhelm Scream
This man has an endless amount of energy, one of the highest energy shows I have ever seen.
This show was on Sunday, April 21 at Pub Rock in Scottsdale Arizona, and surprisingly not a packed house. The crowd was a good mix of young and old and even a few people that had no idea who Jello Biafra was. I was more than a little surprised by this fact. Anyways I will let the slideshow below do the talking and may even upload the images to Facebook. Still going through the images from That Damn Show from the day before, look for those tomorrow.
